From your arrival in Prague to the Vision Board session in the Beskydy Mountains — here's how the week unfolds for mentors.
The 2026 camp brings together three groups of young leaders — each led by two Moderators, with mentors woven throughout. From Day 2 onwards, your class is your world.
Each mentor will be paired with 2–4 young leaders to help them on their personal journey throughout the week. These pairings are carefully considered by the Moonshot team — we make the connections based on your background, expertise, and the young leaders' own paths and challenges.
Arriving fresh, full of ambition and questions. This is their first Moonshot experience — and you have the chance to shape it profoundly.
Another cohort of new Moonshotters joining for the very first time — bringing their own mix of backgrounds, sectors, and energy to the week.
These Moonshotters have been to camp before. They bring continuity, depth, and a living sense of what this community can become — and they'll help new participants feel at home.
Please read through your class readings before arriving at camp. Seminars are based on Aspen Institute-style discussions rooted in these texts — coming prepared makes all the difference.
Your reading pack for the Aspen-style seminars at camp. These texts form the foundation of the discussions you will lead and participate in.
📄 Open Readings Pack →Your reading pack for the returning class. These texts build on prior camp experience and go deeper — come ready to guide and challenge.
📄 Open Readings Pack →Some mentors arrive as early as Wednesday July 9th. Prague rewards slow exploration — here are our recommendations for food, drinks, walks, and wellness before camp begins.
A Prague institution. Spectacular Neo-Baroque interior in the Smíchov neighbourhood, legendary brunch, exceptional pastries, and long leisurely mornings over good coffee.
The best traditional Czech pub experience in the city. Fresh-tank Pilsner Urquell, svíčková na smetaně, and open-faced chlebíčky. Loud, warm, and genuinely Prague.
A neighbourhood gem tucked into the hillside street just around the corner from Prague Castle. Beautiful views over Malá Strana's rooftops, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent Czech and European cooking — with barely a tourist in sight.
One of Prague's most sophisticated cocktail bars — intimate atmosphere, seasonally inspired drinks, and an elegant but unpretentious vibe. A standout for a memorable evening in the city.
A stylish, intimate bar beloved by Prague's creative crowd. Named after the theatre footlight, Forbína has the energy of a place where interesting people end up. Creative drinks, warm atmosphere, and conversation that tends to run long.
A well-loved natural wine bar that's been a favourite among Prague locals for years. Excellent Czech and European bottles, knowledgeable staff, and the kind of low-key evening that turns into a late one without you noticing.
A morning walk or run through Letná Park rewards you with panoramic views from the old metronome platform. The famous Letná beer garden — one of Prague's best — is perfect for a mid-afternoon break.
Wander the cobblestone streets of the Lesser Town below the castle. Cross to Kampa Island by the river — quiet, green, and the city at its most romantic.
Take the funicular up Petřín Hill to the iconic observation tower — Prague's answer to the Eiffel Tower — for sweeping views over the city. Then wind down through the beautiful, little-visited Kinsky Gardens on the southern slope.
Prague's largest and most beautiful park — former royal hunting grounds now beloved by locals for morning runs, long afternoon walks, and weekend picnics. In Holešovice, far from the tourist trail.
One of Central Europe's leading contemporary art venues, housed in a converted factory in Holešovice. Thought-provoking exhibitions, a bookshop worth browsing, and a café with an airship suspended from the ceiling.

Both are covered by Moonshot and designed to help you arrive grounded and ready for the week ahead. More details and booking instructions will be sent to you shortly.

Inside one of Europe's most iconic venues, the conversation begins. International voices you won't find on the usual conference circuit take the stage alongside the next generation of leaders, founders, and the experts worth listening to. A large movement space stays open throughout the day for yoga, rest, or simply stepping out of your head and back into your body.
The camp formally begins today. Buses carry everyone north of Prague to one of Bohemia's most striking Renaissance castles — where the first seminars of the week take place under open skies and vaulted ceilings.
Today the camp moves. A special train carries everyone from Prague toward Ostrava — with the journey itself woven into the programme. The afternoon and evening unfold at Lorkova Vila in the Beskydy foothills, your base for the remaining days.
A full day of camp at the City Campus Ostrava, followed by one of Europe's most distinctive music festivals set in a former industrial complex. One of the most memorable days of the week.
Own drinks are not allowed on the festival premises. Do not bring: umbrellas, excessive luggage, bicycles, or scooters. Strictly forbidden: alcoholic beverages, glass containers, flammables & sprays over 200ml, weapons of any kind, professional cameras or camcorders.
The last full day for the young leaders. Morning seminars and class check-outs bring the week to a point of reflection. The Closing Ceremony gathers everyone together one final time — then the young leaders are on their way. Mentors remain.
After the young leaders depart, Friday evening is yours. Lorkova Vila sits in the beautiful Beskydy Mountains — use the evening to relax, reflect, or continue conversations over dinner with the Moonshot team and fellow mentors.
The final morning belongs to the mentors. A reflective, forward-looking session to share what you've seen, what moved you, and what Moonshot can become. The official programme ends at 12:30 PM with lunch.
The last day of the camp is in Ostrava. Many mentors choose to fly out of Vienna or Kraków because both airports are closer than Prague.
You were selected because of your ability to form authentic relationships with the younger generation. Your commitment to the camp — and to the young leaders — is what makes this week transformative.
